| Chai Chee ( Thu, 6.00-7.00pm) Simei ( Fri, 4.00-5.00pm), Ang Mo Kio, Marsiling, Yishun requires volunteer readers. We're looking out for anyone above 15, have a good command of English and can preferably commit a min. period of 6 months, 1 hr once a week. Registration through email only. | Volunteers wanted for National Library Patrons' Survey (August - October 2010)

| As part of the project team in studying the trends of reading and library patrons, we need volunteers to assist us as Surveyors in conducting surveys at Lee Kong Chian Reference Library (between level 7 - 11). No experience required and students (at least 15 years old & above) are encouraged to sign up as part of community service programme. For WEEKDAYS, please check out our Regular event calendar. For WEEKENDS, please check out the One-Time calendar, thanks!

CCKPL requires library assistants for weekdays
organised by Choa Chu Kang Community Library
Choa Chu Kang Public Library requires volunteers for rotational duties of 1. user guides 2. gate and 3. rovers. One should be able to multi-task and handle patrons politely. User guide duties are to provide assistance to patrons at E-kiosks, Book Borrowing Stations and Catalogues. Gate duty is to look out any alarm trigger when patrons pass the gate. One has to call back the patron and bring them to the counter. Rover's duties is to patrol the library and ensure users comply to library rules & regulation. While roving, one is required to replenish all book displays in foyer including New Arrivals, please ask for guidance from staff at the counter. In the event whereby one encounters difficulty, immediately approach the CSO for assistance. Dress code will be smart casual but strictly no slippers, sandals, shorts, mini skirts, bermudas or skimpy clothing. CIP student welcomed.

Collection Maintenance
organised by Geylang East Community Library
We need volunteers to help us with our Collection Maintenance. You will be given a list of library items to be pulled out from the shelves. New volunteers are welcome. Training is not required. No experienced needed but matured volunteers who are aged 13 and above are preferred. Dress code will be polo t-shirt or round neck t-shirt and either dark long pants or jeans. Please refrain from using tops with any advertisement messaging. Please note we do not allow any slippers, shorts, miniskirts or skimpy clothing, as our volunteers are in an ambassadorial role. Please bring along a jacket if you are prone to the possible low temperatures in the library. Interested volunteers - please register as soon as possible. Promotion & Publicity Assistants needed at BIPL from July - September 2010

Are you keen to help us promote our E-services or books? BIPL needs volunteers to assist in the promotion and publicity of e-services such as SMS reminder, e-kiosk assistance and loan promotion etc. VOlunteer will have a chance to work out or help in the display of promotion peripherals & materials. Dress code will be smart casual but strictly no slippers, sandals, shorts,mini skirts or skimpy clothings. **Students are required to come in school uniform when volunteering during school term except holidays/weekends. Please bring along a jacket in case due to low temperature in the library.
